There is much talk about what is happening now and what is going to happen in the near
future. Many prophecies of doom and destruction are appearing as our consensus awareness
looks down the skein of time into the crystallized future. There are also many prophecies
of a wonderful New World, but these are suppressed by our overwhelming tendency to focus
on the negative. But, if the future is ‘written in stone,’ how can there be
different perspectives?
Things are changing, but they have always been changing and in every age, in every
generation there have been the same warnings. Are they any different now? Are we close to
the ‘end of time?’
One of the greatest illusions in consensus reality is the illusion of permanence. We
like to have a permanent job or position. A permanent relationship is considered better.
The idea of ‘term’ insurance sounds less permanent to many of us, so we may
choose ‘whole life’ because it sounds permanent. Even though it costs more and
gives back less in the long run, it just sounds better. We look for permanent paint and
mark our packages with permanent markers.
A basic, scientific fact of our physical reality is that everything is changing.
Nothing is permanent. Nothing! Even the hardest element known to man is slowly changing.
Everything you can lay your eyes on or think of right now is changing. Too slowly to
notice, but none the less, changing. Nothing is permanent. Permanent only means that
something may look the same to us, for a little longer.
Another basic fact of our physical reality is that everything has a beginning and an
end. Anything you can think of or lay your eyes on right now had a beginning and will have
an end. Scientists wonder about this. Stuck in the ‘time’ thing, they wonder,
"If everything began at some time and nothing existed before, what existed
before?"
Scientists have found the answer to this question. It took a long ‘time’ for
them to do so, and it resulted in an answer that is surprisingly similar to what the
Masters have been saying all along. Scientists used to think that all there is in
‘reality’ is physical things, but they have found Energy.
Energy has some basic characteristics, too. Energy can neither be created nor
destroyed. Energy is forever. Energy is. Energy is nothing physical, but it has the
potential to ‘become’ any physical thing. All physical things are a reflection
of Energy.
These are sound, scientific statements supported by sound, scientific research. Well,
let’s change the word Energy to Spirit and see what happens.
Spirit can neither be created nor destroyed. Spirit is forever. Spirit is. Spirit is
nothing physical, but it has the potential to ‘become’ any physical thing. All
physical things are a reflection of Spirit.
Sound familiar? Well, let’s not use the word ‘Energy’ anymore.
Let’s use Spirit. They are the same. It is just a matter of perspective and a choice
of words.
Okay, what does that have to do with end time events?
Well, first of all, you are Spirit. Remember that EVERYTHING in the physical world is
made up of Spirit. All physical things are a reflection of Spirit. You and I are Spirit.
We have no ‘beginning’ and we have no ‘end.’ Spirit is forever. Spirit
is. Our physical beings are only a reflection of Spirit.
Everything physical is Spirit. Spirit is forever. Life is not a physical thing. Life is
Spirit.
We don’t have to worry about ‘going’ anywhere. We don’t have to be
concerned about you coming to an ‘end.’
Okay, Spirit is forever. But what about our physical reality? Are any of these
‘end time’ prophecies true?
Yes, they are all true. They are all POSSIBILITIES held in the potential of The One.
The psychic is seeing POSSIBILITIES. Depending on the attention and the expectations of
the psychic, he or she ‘tunes in’ to one of these possibilities. Some of them
are filled with images of destruction while others are filled with images of a wonderful
‘New World.’ What each psychic reports is a possibility only, for that moment
only. Another psychic with similar vibrations and similar attention may very well
‘see’ the same thing, but that potential has been there from the beginning of
time and will remain as long as time remains. Many psychics over time have seen the same
thing. Some of the prophecies have come to pass. Others may yet be fulfilled. But all
remain as potential in Spirit.
As an example, the potential in Spirit for automobiles, telephones, computers and every
‘modern’ convenience existed in Spirit from the beginning of time. Sensitive
individuals through time have spoken and written accurately about the future. Others have
spoken and written about devices and events that are considered fantasy and have never
come to pass. But the fantasy and the fact both hold the same potential for being in
Spirit. Everything is a reflection of Spirit, even our thoughts. We cannot have a thought
or a vision that does not exist as a potential in Spirit.
The whole can never be greater than the sum of its parts. The visions of the future
that have come to pass are those that fit into our expectations or consensus agreement.
The fantasy is another course or another potential. But it is still a potential. We could
have decided to levitate from place to place rather than ride in cars and airplanes. That
may sound a little far fetched, but it is true. It may be easier to understand that we
could have chosen a different method of physical healing rather than the medical system we
now have. In fact, we almost did! And, although the medical method is very dominant, we
are still deciding which will be the final ‘standard’ for physical healing.
If every possibility exists, which will come to pass? Which one will happen?
God is Love. All that is, is of God. All is Spirit. Life is Spirit. Spirit is Love.
If we take a good look at the physical world, remembering that it is Spirit and life is
Spirit and Love, we will see that the Universe is Benevolent. Benevolent means,
‘marked by or disposed to doing good : organized for the purpose of doing
good. Is this fact obvious?
It is only when we look closely. We tend to judge things by physical standards because
we think that Life is a physical thing. We are back to that principal of continual change,
now, where there is the ‘old’ and the ‘new.’ Remember that old and new
are perspectives of the illusion of time. That change we talked about earlier is an
integral part of the Benevolence of the Universe.
Knowing the principle of a Benevolent Universe, we can look with new eyes and see that
all change is change for the good. And when we do, we may be surprised. Every form of life
around us is facing challenges, adapting and growing into a stronger and more capable
expression; and that includes us. This growth results in what we call a ‘struggle for
existence.’
We believe that a species coming into extinction is a ‘bad’ thing. We do not
see that Life continues in another species or another expression in the Balance of the
Universe. Doctors tell us that the virus we just fought off has ‘mutated’ into a
different, more robust form. We think this is a bad thing. We do not consider that our
interaction with the virus has changed us, too. Benevolence is the principle, change is
the way. Everything around us is changing in a Benevolent Universe. Even the hardest rock
is dissolved by the gentle rain, becomes soil and eventually makes its way back to the
center of the earth.
We are the only species on this earth that complains about this process. But, we are
the only species that has an ability to change ourselves and the world around us with
intent. Benevolent forces press the Universe to change. Of all life forms here, we are
unique in that we can press ourselves to change.
We have agreed on certain patterns of overall change that will take place in our movie
of reality. What you must know is that we have agreed on changes that will benefit us in
our growth and awareness. We are Spirit and we are Forever. Nothing ‘bad’ is
going to happen. We are changing. We are growing. We are not coming to an end. God is
Love. The Universe is Benevolent. It’s just a movie. Movies end. Spirit is Forever.
We will discover that our beliefs, our expectations and our attention directly effect
the rate of change and the direction of change in our physical reality. For now, though,
know that you are Spirit and you are forever, and you exist in the Love of the Benevolent
Universe.
All that is, is of The One.
